Finish the first app
A half-set Alipay and a half-set WeChat is worse than one tested app.
The comparison is about which app to do first, not which app wins China. If a host writes to you on WeChat, that is the first app. If nobody does, Alipay is the simpler wallet.
Do not spend the evening reading fee tables from three blogs. The binding screen in your account is the fee that applies to you.
